Special Education (1st through 8th)  Hia! I'm Breann Stanzell and I'm the Social, Emotional, and Behavioral teacher here at North Woods. I also do some academic push-ins and organizational skills with the middle school students. It will be my fifth year teaching here. I live in Mt. Iron with my husband, Dan, and our 3 children: Sophia (4), Nina (2), and Henry (<1 year). I like traveling, Harry Potter, reading, crafting, and being outside. You frequently can find me in my craft room sewing, painting, or making soap.  The main things I focus on in my world are the 12 Executive Functioning Skills. I may call what I do "Social Skills", but Social Cognition is a more apt term. Whether your child struggles with paying attention, staying seated, or controlling emotional outbursts, I work with them to help them learn a more socially appropriate way.
