Ojibwe History & Indian Education Tutor

Sge:no!  Boozhoo!

My name is Larissa Harris!  Here's a little bit about myself:
I am a member of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy (Onondaga).  I am a jingle dress dancer, beader, quillworker, story-teller.
I completed a BA in Anthropology with an Archaeological emphasis and a History minor from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2012 and I completed an MA in Anthropology from the University of Manitoba in 2017.
When I am not teaching at Northwoods, I am an interpreter for the Soudan Underground Mine.  I am also a teacher for the Gidakiimanaaniwigamig NASA camp through Fond Du Lac Tribal College.
I live in Soudan with my two dogs (Gynger and Ziina) and my significant other, James.  We spend our free time camping, canoeing/kayaking, reading, attending the arts, travelling, watching hockey, gardening, and hiking.
I am looking forward to working with students in the 2017-2018 school year!

Nya:weh!  Miigwech!
