Friday, January 15, 2016, eight North Woods students competed for the title of 2016 Spelling Bee Champion.  Grades 5-8 participated with each grade sending two student representatives to the competition.  Abby Koch took 1st place, while Kara Drift took 2nd, and Levi Byram placed 3rd.  All three advanced to the district level where 6th grader Abby Koch secured the title of District Spelling Bee Champion!

February 12, Abby competed with 23 other spellers for the regional title.  She ended up taking 9th place!  Congratulations to Abby for being such a great representative for North Woods School. We are proud of you!
